Your R ole  and your T eam : Â

We are seeking a Head of Corporate Quality Management and Programme Compliance to ensure adherence with all applicable statutory, company and customer requirements.

Reporting to the Chief Quality Officer you will be responsible for coordinating the quality activities and interfaces of the various divisions and departments of the company, including Finance, People, Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance and Air Operations.

In this role you are ensuring the continuous growth and effectiveness of Lilium s Quality Management System.

The Quality Design Engineering team plays a critical role in ensuring our business achieves the relevant approvals we'll need to certify and operate the Lilium Jet.

We monitor our Design Organisation  Approvals (DOA) and the Design Assurance of Engineering Quality.Â

Your Day to Day :

  • Supporting the Chief Quality Officer in strategic planning to support a global customer focused company operation.
  • Setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth for the Quality Management System within the Divisions that support agreed company objectives
  • Coordination and management oversight of Divisional Quality Management activities in association with the Divisional Leads.
  • Overseeing and establishing that each Division has both clear and comprehensive processes / procedures and associated defined roles & responsibilities
  • Development and maintenance of the Lilium annual Compliance Monitoring Plan (CMP) to ensure the organisation remains compliant with all aspects of statutory, regulatory, business and customer requirements and ensuring that the programme is executed in accordance with the approved Audit Plans.
  • Working with the Head of Corporate Quality Assurance to ensure support and timely execution of all internal and external audit activities and any resultant corrective actions.
  • Development of the Corporate Quality and Compliance training programme
  • Development of global quality management strategies and plans
  • Building a world class Quality Management team through strong people leadership.
  • Working with the Process Excellence team to ensure continuous improvement and effectiveness of the Quality Management System in compliance with the regulatory and business objectives
  • Ensuring timely identification and associated controls for supplier quality management activities across the organisation.
  • Supporting on-time delivery of compliant product and service deliverables in conjunction with Programme Management and Programme Quality Leads
  • Leading Quality Reviews to ensure effective critical assessment of company solutions against statutory, business and customer requirements
  • Deputising for the Chief Quality Officer as required
  • Representing the company at industry meetings, working groups, conferences and committees
  • Your Profile :

  • An individual with a “Solutions†oriented and positive attitude with willingness to learn and improve on skills and knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including report writing
  • Experience in a Quality Assurance / Management role in the Aviation Industry with knowledge of Aviation industry standards essential.
  • Knowledge of EASA Part 21J, EASA Part 21G, and Part 145 requirements and related working practices and standards

  • Previous Lead Auditor experience desirable.
  • Knowledgeable in recognized Aerospace standards (e.g. AS / EN / JISQ 9100)
  • Ability to interface well at all levels within the business, with suppliers, partners and customers and to convey complex requirements with clarity to stakeholders.
  • Qualified to degree level in a recognised Aerospace Engineering discipline.
  • Proven track record in building and leading a high performing team
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in working in an EASA Part-21 or similar regulated aviation organization.
  • Entrepreneurial and engaging leadership style, forward thinker, fostering a growth mindset
  • Ability to foster a collaborative team environment with open communication, identifying problems and establishing resolutions.
  • Building a strong reputation for Lilium by instant personal credibility based on experience, personality and strong stakeholder management
  • Strong planning and management skills
  • Excellent business acumen and ability to translate between technical challenges, business, market and people challenges whilst assuring maintenance of quality standards.
  • Driven to take ownership and holds oneself and others accountable for delivering results
  • Ability to support occasional national and international travel at short notice
  • Experience of working directly with customers internally and externally at a senior level.
