As an Application Engineering for Automotive Microcontroller IGP you will work in different functional areas throughout an 18 months special career assignment all of them related to Application Engineering .
Your program consists of the following elements :
At the Munich Headquarters you will focus on learning in electro mobility , battery management and power and get to know e.
g. automotive microcontrollers
In your second assignment you will get to know further functional areas within the Infineon Automotive Division and learn about automotive sensors and controls
During your international assignment in Japan you will get in touch with latest state of the art technology projects , foster networking with our customers in Japan , develop your intercultural competencies and deepen your knowledge about our international business with Asia
You will call up marketing knowledge to position our products in these key automotive markets and support our customer’s applications by creating application notes , conducting hands on sessions and giving trainings
During the whole program you will exchange thoughts and aspirations with your dedicated mentor regularly and get additional input for your further career development
You are curious and interested in a broad range of topics. You don’t expect things to be handed to you on a silver platter.

You have a degree and outstanding performance in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Technical Computer Science or similar technical programs in your peer group ideally with some share of business administration topics in it
You did use the chance to gain first work experience showing your interest in combining technical skills with customer topics , e.
g. through internships in consulting others technically
You have spent time abroad , either studying or doing an internship
Ideally, you have gained first experiences in academic projects and enjoyed taking on responsibility and leadership in your team
Mentioning fluent German and English is as superfluous to you as mentioning MS Office and programming skills
