Your role
We are searching for System Engineers to support our daily operations for the computing and storage infrastructure with VMware hypervisors in our local datacenters in Ingolstadt and Nutanix hyper-converged environments located in our international headquarters of 10 European countries.
Be part of several virtual teams to work towards our goals of international standardization of local infrastructure solutions, automatization of operations for the data center locations in Ingolstadt, and even be part of our move of infrastructure services to Google Cloud.
Your tasks
Be part of our Datacenter Computing team that maintains and operates our infrastructure environment in our global data centers
Maintain our Nutanix hyper-converged environments in the headquarters of 10 European countries
2nd / 3rd level support for computing and storage solutions as well as for operating systems
Support our migrations of infrastructure-related services (IaaS) to Google Cloud
Requirements
Good experience with daily operational tasks of infrastructure environments running VMware hypervisor in on-prem data centers
Strong experience with operations of Windows Server, SLES and RHEL
Nutanix Associate or Professional certification
Good experience with configuration management systems (SCCM, Ansible, Satellite, etc.)
Familiar with common DevOps technologies (Terraform, Github, OpsGenie, etc.)
Fluent in German and English
Optional
Experience with migration of infrastructure services to Google Cloud
Experience with operations of IaaS in Google Cloud
Google Associate Cloud Engineer certification
