Corporate Controlling with its current 12 team members is in charge of the financial steering of the company and adds a decisive contribution to the successful way into the future of CARIAD.

As a partner we work closely with our interfaces, take up challenges proactively and contribute to the best solution for the whole company.

Therefore it’s important for us despite all challenges, ambitious targets and deadlines to jointly achieve a common goal.

In particular establishing processes and the flexible handling of evolving conditions are part of the key challenges for our area.


  • Support our transformation towards a data-driven company, especially with regards to developing a robust and integrated finance data model
  • Support design and implementation of analytics solutions to improve regular financial reporting and ad-hoc analysis capabilities in our BI applications
  • Advising CARIAD departments in the context of reporting and operational steering matters
  • Explore and build up (advanced) analytics use cases (e.g. visualization, predictive analytics, natural language generation) in the context of financial reporting and planning
  • Participate in special projects / tasks

  • Experience in working with finance data models and their integration with IT architectures as well as Big Data architectures and Finance BI technologies, ideally SAP ERP (e.
  • g. SAP R / 3 or S / 4HANA), data warehouse (e.g. SAP BW) , BI reporting and planning applications (e.g. SAP Analytics Cloud, IBM, Anaplan)

  • Functional expertise in the areas of Accounting / Controlling
  • Successfully completed studies (BS / MS) in the area of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) or quantitative field (CS, Applied Statistics, Operations Research) or in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics
  • Analytical, entrepreneurial thinking and problem-solving competence, as well as affinity for technical topics in a software-driven environment (products, business models, etc.)
  • Strong team, communication and negotiation skills as well as intercultural skills, ideally developed in an international environment
  • Very good English and German language skills, both written and spoken and in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
