Your Team

Key Account Management (KAM) is Invesco’s regional strategic partnership programme, and responsible for delivering a superior investment experience to a small number of large, complex and globally-operating investors.

  • KAM provides an additional duty of care, through strengthening senior client relationships, facilitating global coordination, and better serving holistic investment needs as an investments partner across multiple distribution channels including;
  • multinational corporate pensions & treasury, re / insurance, private banking and wealth management.

    Your Role

    This is a senior, high-impact relationship management role, focused upon delivering the very best of Invesco’s worldwide capabilities in a consultative framework to our strategically important and highest-value client partnerships, in line with Invesco’s purpose in the EMEA region and globally.

    You will be responsible for :

  • Partnering with the Head of EMEA Key Account Management (KAM), and regional distribution leaders, to serve portfolio of strategically important clients, where we seek to provide an outstanding client experience, with a view to becoming a long-term strategic partner serving their holistic enterprise investment needs
  • Encouraging strong collaborative relationships with Invesco senior managers for all KAM clients to facilitate smooth execution, and playing an active role in internal councils such as Global private banking initiative, regional distribution leadership meetings and other relevant forums
  • Supporting and evolving the KAM function as business development centre of excellence, by embedding exceptional strategic account planning processes, development of client-centric solutions, innovation and beneficial services to support needs and deliver our purpose
  • Orchestrating of C-suite leadership meetings, and executing multi-layered engagement at KAM client priorities, and seeking to establish a rhythm of senior executive engagement in concert with your manager, Invesco’s Senior Executive Leadership Team and Investment Centre Leads
  • Contributing to the growth of Invesco’s evolving regional distribution strategy, craft and disseminate client engagement success stories and distributing standard methodologies, through briefing presentations and case-studies with regional distribution, investment teams and senior management
  • Owning the improvement of significant client analytics and insights in collaboration with relevant internal partners to accurately baseline enterprise relationships by product and channel, and facilitating the development of MI KAM dashboards and performance metrics
  • Undertaking appropriate professional development and product training, to ensure proficiency in product continuum, risk and solutions development, and the ability to articulate Invesco’s wide scope of investment capabilities and strategic services to KAM client needs in accord with regulatory guidelines
  • The skills and experience you’ll bring

    You have :

  • Experience with business development track-record in financial services or professional services firm (e.g. top strategy consulting firm)
  • Proven track record with senior client relationship management, meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Technical know-how of client engagement with globally operating clients
  • Gravitas and credibility at senior executive levels
  • Good communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • High integrity and ethical standards
  • Bilingual language skills in German and English
  • University education required; Master / MBA preferred
  • You have the ability to :

  • Be a strategic problem solver with strong client and commercial focus as well as good judgement
