Geotab is actively seeking a Technical Account Manager who can quickly contribute to developing strong co-sell relationships with a large Reseller enterprise in Germany, as well as North and Central Europe.

If you love technology, have experience with telematics and IoT sales and business development, and are keen to join a leading edge technology firm we would love to hear from you!What are the details of this positionAs an Account Manager, your key area of responsibility will be to develop sales activity within a large Geotab Reseller enterprise.

You will develop strong, collaborative relationships, provide valuable business recommendations and utilize internal training tools to increase Reseller product knowledge and sales activity.

The successful candidate will manage contrasting priorities and leverage support from Solutions Engineering and Operations teams to execute objectives.

A strong understanding of the value of Geotab’s open IoT platform with an ability to independently demonstrate this will be critical in this role.

You will need to work closely with regional and pan-European colleagues in a dynamic startup environment to build Geotab’s presence in the multiple sales verticals.

Duties and Tasks / Essential Functions

  • Drive revenue and unit sales through new and existing business channels in Germany and surrounding region
  • Coach and develop various stakeholders on Geotab products and platform, via in-person meetings, platform training, webinars and participating in customer calls and appointments
  • Present Geotab solutions to stakeholders and prospective customers to assist in the sales process
  • Identify new areas for growth and propose programs for initiatives accordingly with the Reseller
  • Maintain and create account development business plans
  • Closely monitor program objectives, sales funnel and provide critical performance feedback to management for reporting and forecasting
  • Regularly evaluate marketing activities and initiatives of Resellers to ensure that the Geotab brand is present and well represented and to maximise the generation of new leads
  • Build and maintain relationships with channel stakeholders to ensure leads are actively qualified and managed, providing continuous feedback to internal and external partners
  • Continuous lead management to maintain pipeline of prospective customers within Salesforce by assisting your partners in gathering key customer information
  • Build company credibility, brand value, and trust with your stakeholders
  • Gain knowledge, insight and understanding from key decision-makers regarding customer needs / challenges
  • Enthusiastically participate in Geotab sponsored Training and Development events, courses, webinars and coaching
  • Support European and global strategic initiatives
  • Bring new Resellers on-board to complement current sales channels
  • Experience / Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree Business, Commerce, or related field
  • 3-8 years experience in account management capacity for channel sales organization
  • Ability to travel regularly and internationally
  • Technically competent using software programs, including but not limited to Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides), Salesforce, and Excel
  • Skilled at communicating with external clients in both technical and non-technical discussions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills, and the ability to anticipate and understand clients' business needs
  • Experience in the telematics industry direct sales is ideal
  • Strong sales and closing background with proven record of success
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in German and English, additional languages an asset
