Come work for G Adventures in the Berlin office! The Operations Finance Coordinator Europe will be responsible for all of our Operational accounting needs, ensuring the timely processing of supplier invoices and adherence to budgets.

The role requires efficiency, accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

  • Take ownership of the two European Operations teams’ supplier payments
  • Process invoices for over 250 suppliers
  • Regularly follow up on outstanding invoices
  • Investigate invoice and budget discrepancies, in conjunction with the Operations Coordinators
  • Create and populate spreadsheets to track and report data efficiently
  • Ensure all vendors and suppliers have received confirmation of payment requirements
  • Build / contribute to strong relationships with suppliers
  • Train suppliers on G Adventures' finance processes and requirements
  • Work closely with the Finance and Operations teams to ensure all audit trails and requirements are maintained and consistently meet business needs
  • Support the Operations team with all administrative tasks to assist with the successful functioning of the department
  • Assist with ongoing projects and process development within the Operations department
  • Other tasks as requested by Operations Supervisor
  • Take the emergency phone on a rotational basis
  • TALENT SPECS

  • 2 years’ experience in an office-based role
  • Intermediate Microsoft skills (Excel / Word / Outlook)
  • Intermediate computer skills, comfortable with macOS
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly collaborative with a friendly and positive attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines
  • Strong customer service, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Quick learner and excellent listener
  • Team player who is self motivated and goal oriented
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • Highly proficient in English, both written and spoken
  • Familiarity with Travel Industry Practices preferred
  • Familiarity with European geography desirable
  • German, Italian, French, Spanish, Slavic, Nordic or other European language skills desirable
  • Ability to work out of the Berlin office
