Job description
The Chair of Financial Engineering and Derivatives, which Prof. Marliese Uhrig-Homburg heads, focuses on empirical and theoretical capital markets research.
Current research topics include the analysis of risk premia and frictions in financial markets and the application of machine learning techniques in the study of economic questions.

Personal qualification
You have a degree (Diplom (Uni) / Master) in business engineering, business mathematics, business administration, economics or business informatics, and you have completed your studies with above-average success.
You enjoy elaborating on economic research questions. Ideally, you bring experience in analyzing empirical data (e.g., R, Python, Matlab).
On top of that, you are focused, you show a high level of commitment, you have good self-organization skills, and you are creative.
Salary
The remuneration occurs on the basis of the wage agreement of the civil service in TV-L E13, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
