  • Responsibilities

  • Identify new growth opportunities based on market knowledge, personal network and technology trends in top-tier and mid-tier customer segment
  • Participate in and drive RFP process with customer prospects together with colleagues from business development, account management and solution architecture
  • Drive and coordinate solution design as well as demos and proof of concepts
  • Coordinate effort estimation and contract negotiations process for new deal proposals
  • Management of multiple customer projects in close collaboration with EPAM onsite and nearshore resources taking care of quality, timeline and budget with hands-on delivery engagement
  • Day-to-day collaboration with the customer. Management of potentially difficult stakeholders
  • Capacity planning and staffing together with EPAM support functions
  • You are responsible for risk management and mitigation actions
  • Requirements

  • Experience in retail domain
  • Experience in introduction and rollout of eCommerce solutions
  • Experience with eCommerce tools like Spryker
  • Steering a client from both process and technical sides with a leaning toward solution optimisation
  • Broad technical skillset with a strong focus on modern web technologies and architectures
  • Understanding of common retail business models, especially in the eCommerce space
  • Hands-on experience with any major eCommerce tools (SAP Commerce Cloud, Magento, commercetools, etc.) is a big plus
  • Consultative and proactive mindset and appearance
  • Strong communication skills including experience in presentation for and management of senior stakeholders
  • Hands-on technical experience in programming or systems engineering that enables you to participate, lead and contribute value in technical discussions
  • Experience in participation and leading of competitive RFP / RFQ scenarios evaluating, presenting solution options and deal closure
  • Possible startup experience as technology entrepreneur, regardless of past success or if you are still looking to proof your believes
  • Fluent German language is must
