The Amazon Appstore team in our Berlin office is looking for an experienced marketing professional who is innovative, creative and excited about building a lifecycle marketing strategy for Fire devices.
Your job with be to drive the Amazon Appstore games and entertainment business on Amazon’s family of Fire Tablets through customer acquisition, engagement, and monetization for games and apps.
We work with game publishers to develop direct-to-consumer propositions to delight Amazon customers and grow the category.
We develop exciting gaming propositions to delight our customers and deepen engagement.
A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer focused, team oriented, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines.
You will have a proven track record for leading successful marketing programs across multiple touch points. A passion and understanding of the mobile gaming or digital entertainment space is a must.
As a Marketing Manager, your key responsibilities will include the following :
Define acquisition and lifecycle marketing strategy across Amazon Fire tablets
Develop engagement campaigns that generate connection, usage, and retention; measure performance; report outcomes; and improve campaigns
Work both at the planning level by generating bold and innovative ideas for growth and at the tactical level by helping to manage advertising campaign execution, creating and optimizing campaigns, analyzing traffic and behavioral data and solving problems
Create onboarding journeys and experiences for new Appstore customers across tablets
Build and scale loyalty marketing programs targeted at different stages of customer lifecycle across tablets
Define and own shared usage goals with EU devices team on tablets
Define KPIs and build reporting for tracking goals (e.g. Store visits, MAUs, etc.)
Define and run customer research projects
Optimize the best communication methods, personalized messages, and optimal timing for current and prospective customers
Work with partner teams to build better customer experience on the Amazon device based on customer usage and feedback
Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews with local and global leadership
Share best practices across categories and regions
A strong understanding of the mobile ecosystem with experience working directly with app and / or games developers
Passion for mobile gaming
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of marketing or business
Proven track-record of delivering online (and ideally mobile) traffic growth from multiple sources including mobile marketing, free and paid search, email marketing, affiliate marketing, social networking, and display advertisements
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; strong bias towards data-based decision making and comfort with financial and operational analysis.
Comfortable rolling up sleeves to perform quantitative analysis
Proven ability synthesizing full funnel analytics, testing (such as A / B and multivariate) and customer insights into successful marketing strategies
Self-motivated, nimble and highly results-driven in fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to details, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
