What we need from you

To build a new team, we are looking for a Product Designer (d / f / m) who cares deeply about their customers and distills complex problems into thoughtful, beautiful, holistic experiences.

Your role will be to take over one of the property management customer journeys and together with a cross-functional team bring it to the next level.

We’re looking for those who naturally do their best work when collaborating with engineering, product, research, data, and marketing.

Are you able to tackle complex tasks and translate product and business requirements and customer needs into highly desirable intuitive solutions?

Do you want to create a product that has an impact on the whole real estate market? Then we are looking forward to your application.

Quickly grasp complex problems and develop design approaches that translate to elegant user experiences and are in line with customer needs, business and tech requirements

Partner with product management and user research to inform deliverables, shape future roadmap discussions, and cultivate transparency

Support your product team and collaborate with other teams to ensure design intent throughout development

Collaborate with design peers and cross-functional teams to build concept consensus

Work in Figma and / or Sketch to deliver elegant solutions to the right problems, advocating for our diverse customer base with data and in-depth research to help meet their unique needs

Work iteratively and love learning fast, taking action, reacting quickly to new information, and focusing on results

Think about the entire system, providing solutions that better the entire customer experience, not only the feature

Commit to understanding and knowing our users through creating research plans, leading and participating in research, focused on both the intangibles (emotional needs) and tangibles (functional needs)

Use storytelling, facilitation, and insights to create empathy with our customers and guide your product team

Raise the bar for the quality of design at Vermietet through your design work, mentorship, facilitation, and workshops

What you need to bring

Can show experience shipping high impact, successful digital products (4+years)

Experience with Fintech or Real Estate and not afraid of complex domain

Speak KPIs, OKRs and understand how to rely on data to support your work

Have a growth mindset and spirit for experimentation and exploration

Are customer-focused and value diverse perspectives

fluent in English and have basic German

Strive for clarity, working to influence others and build consensus, when dealing with ambiguity

Motivated : You are always up to solving problems, and you have the get-things-done mindset to reach the goals

Has Hands-on mindset : You are a skilled expert and love to draft and execute new ideas based on user insights using mood boards, storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes.
