As a researcher in our research group, you are actively contributing to internal and external research projects.
This includes understanding the safety needs of Bosch products, systems and services and designing reliable, fault-tolerant, highly available, trustworthy software solutions for stand-alone connected (embedded) devices and edge and cloud services.
You apply your knowledge in safety and dependability and leverage academic research to design and evaluate superior solutions for securing Bosch connected products, systems and services.
Thanks to your experience, you help us to architecture, design, and implement dependable software as well as edge and cloud services for Bosch applications.
Your responsibility includes research and development as well as experimental deployment of the aforementioned solutions.
Education : PhD in computer science or related subjects or equivalent experience, ideally with focus on edge or cloud computing, site reliability engineering, fault-tolerant systems or equivalent technologies
Personality : Positive team player, who is highly motivated, has an innovative mindset, is eager to learn new things, is passionate about applied research and wants to make a dent in the universe
Working Practice : Solid hands-on experience with technologies used in edge and cloud computing and fault-tolerant software systems
Experience and Knowledge : Solid knowledge of edge and cloud technologies, theoretical concepts and software frameworks used in these areas.
In addition, at least basic knowledge of functional safety
Qualifications : Good understanding of dependability, fault-tolerance, reliability engineering and reliable edge and cloud services.
In addition, the ability to understand safety requirements and safety concepts in distributed systems
Languages : Fluent in English (written and spoken)
