What you’ll learn & achieve :
Leads global strategy and deal origination activities across the smart grid and smart factories portfolio with a focus on cybersecurity , interoperability , and autonomy .
Performs global research over the industry, market, competition & regulatory bodies to identify and prioritise the growth opportunities and target acquisition cases.
Develops and manages the M&A pipeline and manages overall M&A process from deal origination to integration of target.
Leads and builds the working relationship with the senior executives at potential targets
Leads Energy & Industrial Automation Long-Range Planning activities.
Gathers market intelligence, by attending conferences and exhibitions, meeting with targets, investors and other business sponsors.
What makes you a great fit :
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in Computer Science, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics;
Master’s degree in Business Administration from an accredited university is preferred.
Minimum of five years of work experience in M&A strategy discipline in cybersecurity or robotics or smart grids at a solution provider or major or boutique strategy, or consulting firm.
Global experience focused on cybersecurity or autonomy or interoperability with the ability to conduct a thorough analysis of potential acquisition targets, including assessing the market landscape (structure, size and profitability, drivers of performance, trends, outlook), the target’s competitive position (competitive landscape, target’s relative financial performance, target’s relative offer position), and the viability of the target’s revenue and profit forecast and investment thesis.
Strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to understand how business model decisions impact financial performance.
Strong technical background with Power Utilities, Distributed Energy Resources, Renewable, Industrial Automation will be a plus point.
Comfort with ambiguity and fluid situations and ability to work in a fast-paced deal environment; travel varies based on the acquisition target location.
