The goal of this international role is to maximize pipeline generation productivity across the sales teams, regions and different customer portfolios in all European manufacturing mid-markets, primarily medium sized and larger customers.
This will require identifying the "right new business bets" in terms of sales plays on the one hand, target markets, account clusters and personas on the other.
Furthermore, those analytical insights need to be translated into executable sales campaigns that drive pipeline generation in the teams.
Pipeline development progress needs to be monitored and programmatically managed in close collaboration with the regional sales leaders.
In addition, the role helps cultivating a healthy outside-in-perspective. Hence, it requires an educated analytical perspective on the latest economic and industry developments as well as proficient understanding of Autodesk's solution portfolio and underlying technology trends.

Increases business by driving sales, industry literacy and technical capability internally and externally (work closely with the Channel and Channel Readiness Teams).
Works with partners to uncover opportunities for competitive replacement and wider use of Autodesk products.
Conceptualizes, cascades and oversees regionalized new business development campaigns. Upsell-, cross-sell and expansion.
Acts as a coach in related sales enablement activities.
Monitors and analyses pipeline generation from a programmatic POV.
Consults the sales leadership team, points the regional extended sales ecosystems - incl. resellers, demand generation and inside sales towards the most promising market opportunities.
Supports account portfolio management, verticalization and account clustering efforts with market insights and methodology.
Educates the sales teams on the most relevant external developments and trends.
Stays current on competitors' strengths and weaknesses to create winning competitive strategies and tactics (Work collaboratively with the Industry Management & Competitive Intelligence team).
Works in direct support of the long-term revenue growth strategies to bring about a cohesive, aligned and integrated sales development plan.
Interfaces and onboards critical internal stakeholders - Marketing, Sales Strategy, Operations, Development and Finance.
Plays an active role in obtaining feedback from customers, resellers, and field sales teams and relay information back to internal stakeholders.
The role reports into the sales leader of the mid-market sales organization and has a dotted reporting line to the sales excellence & strategy execution EMEA lead.
Success will be measured in overall pipeline generation progress and business growth.
MBA, master's degree in engineering or similar
Minimum of 10 years professional experience in sales, demand generation, business development or (market-oriented) strategy consulting
Location : Europe-wide, preferably close to one of our main offices in UK or Germany
