Job Summary

The Human Resources team at FreeWheel, a Comcast Company, is looking for a collaborative and experienced Senior Manager to support our Berlin office and EU employees.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team of HR professionals striving to create an engaging, inclusive and dynamic work environment across our global organization.

Currently, the European region entails France, UK, Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Spain. This role will be based in Berlin and reports to the Senior Director of HR in Paris.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary HR contact and provide generalist and office support for the teams in Germany. Current headcount of 20 employees.
  • As Co-Managing Director of the Company, manage daily operations and deliver day to day office and people support, onsite office activities management.
  • Work with leaders and employees to establish and champion a positive, respectful work environment and act as an employee advocate.

  • Work closely with global HR Business Partners and Centers Of Excellence (COEs) to drive consistent utilization of full portfolio of available resources.
  • Provide HR input for business projects and people planning and budgeting processes.
  • Processing of payroll and other HR administrative responsibilities for Germany and other EU country teams.
  • Ability to extract and aggregate the right data from multiple sources for regular reporting, assessment, auditing and monitoring updates on aspects of the employee life cycle and providing recommendations for improvement
  • Operationalizing project implementation, while supporting change management initiatives
  • Participate in workforce planning meetings in partnership with key stakeholders
  • Analyze, escalate and monitor progress on Employee Survey action plans and engagement and communications activities for Germany and EU teams.
  • Manage implementation employee engagement and performance management initiatives
  • Personal Profile

    Qualifications / Requirements

  • 7-10 years of human resources experience
  • Strong proficiency in German and English needed. Proficiency in French would be a plus
  • Prior experience as a managing director or similar business leader role a plus
  • Thorough and demonstrated knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience and ability to pull and aggregate data to inform decisions / recommendations
  • Experience coaching and supporting EU teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build credibility through action
  • Demonstrated ability to drive HR processes and projects, delivering high quality HR services in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience in operating with high levels of integrity and managing highly confidential information
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience with Workday preferred
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations a plus

    Bachelor's Degree
