The role will sit within the Digital Customer B2C team and as part of the central EON digital program, the team is responsible to drive digital sales and service in the regions with clear measurable outcome.

Besides sharing and adopting best practices across the regions, we deliver projects aiming to reduce costs, push growth and improve digital customer experience.

The team is based in Essen and is an incredible combination of entrepreneurs and technology-driven experts. As our Senior Project Manager Digital Sales and Service you will be leading project meetings, assigning tasks within working groups and coordinating all relevant stakeholders.

With your mindset set on taking responsibility for project delivery and ensuring ongoing communication, you'll drive the end-

to-end digitalization of E.ON’s customer experience, enabling digital B2C sales / service business for power and gas.

Your tasks :

  • Plan, staff and manage the delivery of one (or more) digital projects centrally and in the regions
  • Ensure reporting of project status and success and track budget
  • Work closely with other digital team members to define and deliver projects in the regions
  • Best leverage the skills of project team members such as IT experts, customer experience top seniors or external agencies
  • Leverage data dashboards to generate insights and derive value creating actions
  • Support digital KPI target setting with regions and manage them
  • Support younger team members with your profound project management skills
  • Develop your digital skills with on the job coaching, mentoring and off the job learning opportunities
  • You will need to be :

  • Skilled with a Master’s degree in a technical or business field with several years of work experience in managing complex projects ideally from recognized consulting firm
  • Experienced in the field of digital sales, marketing and servicing in energy utilities or alternatively in similar industry (Telcos, Banking) would be beneficial

    Skilled in managing complex projects with first experience with digital tools, IT projects and with international work

    Able to understand the business and key challenges / opportunities in the regions, as well as a high level of commercial acumen

    Willing to take on a high degree of responsibility combined with pragmatic spirit and a strong can do attitude and impact focus

    Highly skilled in interpersonal, communication and management skills

  • Comfortable in Business English and the mobility to undertake international business travel
