Position Overview :

For its growing Battery Monitoring (BMS) Group, Analog Devices is seeking a Digital IC Design Engineer for our Munich, Germany location .

This group designs ICs to supervise High Voltage Battery Stacks in (Hybrid) Electrical Vehicles and thus drives the world towards a greener future!

As a Digital Design Engineer, you will perform a full range of product development activities including, but not limited to :

  • Top-level digital architecture planning including partition
  • Collaborate with analog engineers to define mixed-signal interface
  • Verilog HDL based digital design : verification, synthesis, simulation and static timing analysis
  • Design for test including scan insertion, test pattern generation, and fault grading
  • Participate in chip and block level digital / mixed-signal test bench development with Verilog / System Verilog / UVM
  • Modeling / simulating / debugging digital circuits
  • Work with verification team on verification plans, test cases, and analyzing test results
  • Fully document designs and test benches
  • Overseeing automatic cell place and route
  • Collaborate with the ADI design community on best practices
  • Evaluation of silicon, test correlation, and scripting (Perl, Python, C++)
  • Assisting support of customer applications
  • Requirements :

  • BSEE, MSEE, or PhD with 3+ years digital design experience
  • Experience in digital design and implementation is a must
  • Experience in mixed-signal design is a plus
  • Experience in digital verification, system Verilog and UVM is a plus
  • Experience in scripting languages such as Python and Perl is a plus
  • Experience in Automotive Functional Safety is a plus
  • Self-motivation, result oriented, good team work and communication skills
