Overview
The Graphic Designer conceptualizes, develops and implements visual design solutions that meet marketing strategies and reflect SRAM’s brand identities.
The communications are implemented in a wide range of graphic applications including : print, environment, social media, digital, motion, and emerging media.
Responsibilities
Support the Global Brand Design Team in conceptualizing, designing, producing and managing brand and product communications : Print, digital, and motion media;
Product communications; and Environmental design
Create visually appropriate assets and content in support of marketing strategies and campaigns
Collaborate with creative, brand and product teams to best support communication goals
Take initiative on projects to deliver new and innovative solutions
Ensure the requirements of the brand guidelines are accurately and consistently integrated into all asset types
Manage own design, production, and quality control workflow processes from start to finish
Qualifications
BFA in Graphic Design or 2+ years of professional experience within a design agency or in-house creative department
Strong portfolio in both print and digital design including motion graphics
Outstanding skills in communication design (composition, typography, color, illustration and movement)
Proficient with Macintosh computers using Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Animate, and Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to confidently and successfully present creative POV and concepts to internal teams
Strong ability to multitask and work quick under pressure
Deep understanding of brand standards and the ability to work independently
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills needed in order to consistently meet deadlines
A never-ending desire to learn new techniques and technology
Interest in outdoor sports brand environment is a plus
Applicants must be local to or interested in relocating in the Chicago area
