Are you a high end FPGA designer looking to join a dynamic development team? Join us and become part of our development team, belonging to the Keysight Communications Solutions Group, located in Böblingen, near Stuttgart.

In this position, you will get the opportunity to work in a highly motivated team to develop best in test and measurement instruments such as High Speed Arbitrary Waveform Generators, Bit Error Rate Testers or Photonic Test Instruments.

To be successful in this challenging role, you need to be a pro-active problem solver with a keen interest in complex FPGA designs who is comfortable working to tight timescales and able to resolve conflicting priorities and requirements with minimal supervision.

Also, you’ll develop a solid understanding of the test instruments applications and use models.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design sophisticated functions and algorithms in the industry highest end FPGAs
  • Close collaboration with hardware and firmware design engineers
  • Develop testbenches for own designs
  • Simulations to verify system functionality

    Job Qualifications

    To be successful in this role you bring with you :

  • Bachelor or Master degree in electronics
  • Experience with VDHL designs
  • Well-structured working attitude
  • Good English and German language skills
  • Good team-worker
  • Experience with high speed logic design to the highest quality
  • Familiarity with digital design flow
  • RTL coding (VHDL, Verilog or SystemVerilog)
  • Verification from test plan, infrastructure creation to coverage completion
  • Synthesis
  • Timing and power analysis
  • Working knowledge of Xilinx tools and IPs is an advantage
