The Group IT within Intersnack is responsible for coverage of IT business needs across all Management Units. The Group IT is based in Intersnack Head Office Düsseldorf and incorporates and manages several external IT providers to assure the best service to the end-users Group-wide.

For this reason, Intersnack Group IT started an IT-harmonization project called InGrIT which will connect and harmonise the whole Cloud-based IT application landscape for all Management Units.

The overall objective is to deliver easy and user-friendly IT services to ensure operational continuity and efficiency in the core business of snack production.

Purpose of Role

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Governance Expert will play a pivotal role in developing the Intersnack Group IT identity and access management.

The role will lead the design and management of Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) processes and solutions.

This includes the elaboration of the role and access strategies for all business applications (at example Infor, QlikView, etc.

as well as access for all users of local, hybrid and cloud environments. The role will also have the unique opportunity to influence the organisation’s broader long-term IAM strategy.

You will report to the Head of Operations and based in our Düsseldorf office.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide expert knowledge and act as a subject-matter expert on key principles of (IAM) with an in-depth knowledge in the areas of authentication and authorisation systems, identity lifecycle management, and identity governance.
  • You will work to ensure that access is appropriately handled when all identity lifecycle events (e.g., Joiner, Mover, Leaver) occur.
  • This includes the development of standard onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and contractors.

  • You will plan and build out access reviews for our cloud environments, ensuring that compliance requirements are met, and end-user friction is mitigated.
  • This includes the planning of access rights according to defined roles, rules, and policies / compliance requirements.

  • Responsible for implementation of access rights and requests in the system, including workflow and reviewing all project documentation, including maintaining technical documents and business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain IAM guidelines / standards / guidelines and improve current documentation for new and existing technologies.
  • These activities also include the optimisation of identity governance, i.e. the administration of user identities, authorisations, and security.

  • Establishing predefined approval processes and workflows for access requests to network resources, physical assets, groups, and distribution lists.
  • Act as an advocate for access controls and Identity and Access Management (IAM) services, ensuring correct / appropriate standards and processes are being adhered to.
  • Be a key part of project teams, collaborate with business partners, vendor / consulting organisations and peer-level professionals from other IT disciplines.
  • Edu cation & Experience :

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solutions and experience managing Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
  • Working knowledge in designing, engineering, and managing SaaS IGA solutions.
  • Solid business acumen; understands how IAM supports business objectives
  • Relevant industry certifications preferred (e.g. CIAM, CISSP, CISA, ITIL)
  • Extensive professional experience in knowledge of IAM principles and concepts.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL processes, particularly Request, Problem, Incident and Change Management, how they interrelate, and how they can be adopted successfully.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Good command of spoken and written the English language is a must, and German is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
