We are looking for a Director - People PMO (People Operations Project Management Office) (f / m / d) to join at our incredible Hero Hub in the heart of Berlin.
The Director People PMO is responsible for working on the development and implementation of People Operations programs strategy, mission and vision, creating a compelling and value added future that propels all us forward.
This will include definition of the future state as well as supporting initiatives required to move the department from the current to the future state.
Responsible to manage a team of 6-8 Project and Change managers responsible for :
Ensuring that robust change management approaches are implemented in support of initiatives required to achieve the global strategy.
Identifying and fully implementing best in class PM processes and tools throughout the People Operations function and eliminate non-value added work.
Develop and implement a continuous improvement methodology that will identify critical areas for improvement, identify optimal solutions, and implement improvement initiatives within the organisation.
Organize and review program documentation including risk logs, and status reports to identify patterns, trends, and common risks to ensure that program planning and execution improves across the organisation.
Manage end to end global projects or programs around : Technology (People Systems like Workday), People Processes (best practices implementation), Transformation and Change (company values).
Your Heroic Skills
At least 8 years industry experience in managing programs working in Hi-Tech / E-commerce / Online industry
Has worked in program teams and has experience in leading cross functional program teams in a matrix environment.
At least two years of experience leading a People Operations Strategic Projects organisation.
Demonstrated expertise in implementing PM processes.
Demonstrated experience in implementing HRIS systems globally (with strong preference for Workday HCM roll out experienced candidates)
Experience in leading process improvement and change initiatives.
Experience with program management planning and management systems.
Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and decision analysis.
Leadership experience with responsibility for managing professional staff.
Proficient in the use of project management processes and tools.
Any kind of Project Management certification is a plus
Familiarity with change management methodologies
Familiarity with HR technology and processes around recruitment, hiring, organisational management, etc.
Designing and managing a portfolio of initiatives
Familiarity with data and analytical systems for structured business decision-making
