YOUR TASKS

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements and the consolidation of all parts of accounting in the annual financial statements, in particular for the following tasks :

Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to German commercial law

Independent support / general accounting of some of our subsidiaries

Accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed asset accounting

Execution of bank bookings and payment runs

Assistance with intercompany settlements

Advance sales tax return

Import of wages / salaries into DATEV

Reconciliation of the payroll journal (main and subledger reconciliation)

Control and execution of accrual postings (receivables, provisions, active & passive RAPs etc.)

Execution of plausibility checks during the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements (for accrual postings)

Optimization of processes / workflows in the finance area

Cooperation with the auditor, tax advisors and other consultants

Accompaniment of tax audits by the tax authorities

YOUR PROFILE

TRAINING : (technical) university entrance qualification and a completed apprenticeship or study; ideally, further training as an accountant and / or study with a focus on business administration / finance

EXPERIENCE : Relevant professional experience as an accountant

SOUVERÄN : In communication and as team player

TALENT : For numbers and precise work

LANGUAGES : German business fluent; English good oral and written

KNOWLEDGE : Very good in handling accounting and bookkeeping programs e.g. DATEV, easyJob, very good knowledge of German commercial law (HGB);

good knowledge of German tax law (sales tax and wage tax)
