WHAT WE OFFER
The Technical Sales Representative (m / f / d) contributes significantly to the expansion of the market positioning in the Electro and Electronics Segment for Engineering Plastics in the DACH region.
He is the primary contact person (m / f / d) at the customer for new and existing business with a focus on technical solutions.
He supports the development departments as well as the purchasing department and strengthens Covestro's technical competence with the customer through his expertise.
Your tasks in detail :
You act as a regular main contact (m / f / d) for buying customers in the region for which you are responsible
You will be responsible for the acquisition of new projects from existing and new customers, from the initial contact to commercialization, using the CRM growth concept
Regular technical support for customers to optimize the production process and for complaint management is also part of your tasks
You will develop technical solutions for customers in close cooperation with other Covestro functions
You participate in trade fairs and congresses and attend customer visits
Next to our order management you link the customer with the Covestro internal organization in all aspects of the sales function
WHAT YOU OFFER
You have a technical degree (Bachelor) or an apprenticeship in the field of plastics technology or comparable knowledge
A dual education as well as techno-commercial experience is an advantage (e.g. industrial engineer)
Strong technical knowledge of thermoplastics with a customer-centric approach as well as solution orientation is a prerequisite
Ideally you have experience in the plastics industry, application technology, products and their applications
First professional experience in customer industry E&E or at OEMs is an advantage
Your proactivity contributes to strengthening customer loyalty
Very good communication skills, commitment and openness to new contacts characterize you
Very good knowledge of German and English round off your profile
Travel time of >
50% is expected after onboarding. Working location is mainly from home office ( 80%), with flexible location within Germany.
