As Project EHS Leader for Germany you will be responsible for :
Roles and Responsibilities :
During ITO phase :
As an expert in EHS Within the tender team you will prepare project specific EHS related documentations and procedures requested by customer in line with GE’s policy and process.
In addition you will present and explain these documents to customer’s team.
As competent expert you will develop EHS implementation strategy, required manpower and associated costs.
During OTR phase :
As EHS expert you will who provide day-to-day EHS support for construction project ( dedicated to one project : new installation EPC including civil work, turnkey) and prepare report to site and management team.
Responsible for contractor selection and team management
Lead the overall management of EHS related matters
Lead the monitoring and reviewing of EHS compliance
In addition, the operational implementation as well as the investigation and analysis of problems are on your agenda
As a competent contact person for HSE, you are of course also available to managers and your colleagues with advice and action
Degree or Certificate in Occupational Safety or Health or German Health and Safety OfficerCertificate (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit )
Experience as EHS manager preferable in construction sites, e.g. in the field of renewable energies, industry, power plants, seawater desalination or oil & gas
Knowledge of German EHS legislation and requirement on construction sites
Knowledge of GWO training programs and applicability to off-shore works is a plus
Proficient / fluent in German (required) and English
Willingness and ability to travel
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Established project management skills.
Ability to read, analyze safety regulations, and make application to an industrial workplace.
Strong organizational skills
