What you will be doing
Ruby on Rails is our main ingredient. We're a small but expanding team with an agile approach, organizing our bi-weekly sprints using scrumban.
Come work with us, and you’ll not only expand your coding skills, but also can learn how to knit a sweater or sew your new laptop case.
Based on your expertise you design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, up-to-date and reliable Ruby codes.
By maintaining code quality, organization and automization, you keep the side clean and running smoothly.
You identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems.
You are an important part of launching the site in international markets.
To discuss and solve current challenges you are a part of the product and work closely with marketing and PR.
What you're already bringing
A MINT (Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Science, Technology) master, diploma or similar degree is not a must, but highly recommended.
You have at least two years of experience working on a large, customer-facing product, an excellent understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances as well as knowledge of project-oriented analysis and design.
You understand fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
RSpec is your bread and butter, you are proficient in understanding code versioning tools (ex : Git) and have hands-on experience in working with Redis, Postgres and AWS.
You are familiar with development aiding tools (ex : Bundler, Yarn, Webpacker), continuous integration (ex : Rollbar, RubyCI) and ideally have experience developing APIs.
You fit in with us if you have a hands-on attitude, excellent communication skills and are a teamplayer with all your heart.
