Our complex software is developed by many independent teams across multiple locations, and the functional architecture is key to build the right thing at the right time in the right manner.

Your Role

You will support the collaboration between our business customers, the development teams and the technical architects to ensure that we build solutions that are not only satisfying the functional needs of our users but also fit into the Enterprise Solution Platform (ESP) and our wider Kuehne+Nagel IT ecosystem.

Your Responsibilities

Support Product Owners and stakeholders by providing consulting services during the requirements engineering phase

Be sparring partner for the Product Owners during the up-streaming

Support the development teams in understanding the requirements and in selecting the right option to implement

Closely engage and support the UX team to ensure well-understood requirements as basis for a solid UX

Proactively and constantly review and document the functional architecture of the order management application landscape

Double check requirements, solution designs and implementation proposals against the target architecture

Exchange with other products and core IT Initiatives on best way of integration

Your Skills and Experiences

Multiple years of experience within enterprise-level and complex IT and product landscape

Openness to collaborative work in an international team environment

Experience in developing software products and proficiency in SQL

Interfaces and application landscape driven mindset

Attitude to design solutions which favor reuse over reinvention and creativity to tackle entirely new challenges
