The Role Delphix is seeking to hire an experienced Solution Engineer to join their fast expanding team in Germany and EMEA.

This role is key to our success in the German-speaking market and beyond. You will be expected to have a positive impact on our customers, partners and the extended Delphix family.

This role will provide a great opportunity to grow your skills and experience in a highly ambitious and successful private company with over 300 global enterprise customers.

While Delphix seeks an autonomous and creative Solution Engineer, this individual must also be a team player who can successfully partner with the existing Go-To-Market team in EMEA and globally.

Customer satisfaction and success is imperative for building a long term subscription licensing business.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the maturity of the customer’s digital transformational journey, and be able to position Delphix correctly in being able to automate data compliance for privacy regulations, accelerating journey to the cloud and adopting disruptive AI / ML technologies and solutions
  • Lead and develop technical sales efforts for key and targeted accounts
  • Through extensive discovery, understand the customer’s business objectives and any current challenges in meeting these objectives
  • Act as the technical / functional liaison between the customer, and Delphix Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, Product Management, Engineering and support teams during selling activities
  • Educate customers on how Delphix can be used to resolve business and data challenges and provide benefits at business, project and IT levels
  • Develop and execute detailed Proof-Of-Value (POV) test plans tied to business value that drive ROI and block competitors
  • Successfully prove the Delphix DataOps Platform can address customers’ data, IT and business pain by way of Demonstration, Workshop or POV
  • Drive additional appetite and help grow customers’ use of Delphix via education, evangelism and networking within an account
  • Develop reusable technical assets to scale Presales
  • Will report to Director Presales EMEA
  • Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in at least two of these areas : Data Management, DataOps, DevOps, CICD, TDM, Cloud or Data Security
  • 3+ years of experience in roles related to technical selling of Data software technologies
  • Experience using multiple Data platforms such as Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, PostgreSQL, Cloud services (e.g AWS RDS, Azure SQL)
  • Previous experience in automating data related tasks, for example, scripting, coding, programming, including SQL
  • An individual that naturally embraces the Delphix values (Striving for Excellence, Foster Trust, Be Imaginative, Unite Together), comfortable presenting to C-Suite executives, business leaders, IT, technology and applications teams
  • Highly entrepreneurial with a high level of energy, dedication and an unceasing drive to succeed
