We can reach customers on Amazon properties, both web and mobile, and across our ad platforms.

A strategic part of our charter is to build a portfolio of self-service, cost-per-click advertising programs to enable both large and small advertisers to engage with customers in relevant ways.

Examples of products already in the market are Sponsored Products and Amazon Marketing Services (AMS). We are building a new team who will own the go to market strategy and adoption of these Self-

Service Performance Advertising (SSPA) programs for advertisers and agencies.

We are looking for a driven, deadline-oriented Content Development Manager (m / f) to join the Amazon Self Service Performance Advertising team.

As a Content Development Manager, you will be responsible for creating innovative and effective content to drive adoption of Amazon SSPA programs.

You are someone that is equally comfortable writing copy as well as analyzing the impact of your work.

Responsibilities

  • Create product overview and external pitch content that can deliver the Amazon SSPA value proposition to advertisers, agencies and other customers
  • Write short and long-form pieces with a high degree of conceptual creativity and verbal polish
  • Build keynote presentations to be presented at industry seminars and events (e.g., CES)
  • Partner with Product and Product Marketing teams to accurately incorporate product capabilities and updates into marketing content
  • Ensure all content is consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, whether it is a blog post, reference guide, or executive presentation
  • Collaborate with Marketing Managers to craft strategic campaign messaging for their programs
  • Manage projects in a timely fashion for multiple deliverables for campaigns on competing timelines
  • Lead content strategies for marketing communications to Amazon advertisers through email, video, webinar, event, blog, and system notification channels
  • Develop optimization content to drive account growth and retention at scale
  • Measure content effectiveness and synthesize data into actionable changes
  • Manage content bar raising program to improve the quality of the content and maintain brand standards
  • Notwendige Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as communications, marketing, advertising, or business
  • Fluency in German and one additional EU language either Italian or Spanish
  • 3+ years demonstrated excellence in content creation or copy editing
  • Exceptional reading and writing skills with the ability to distill complex concepts into simple messages
  • Proven project manager and multitasker, able to prioritize multiple stakeholder needs and deadlines
  • Able to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the organization in both written and verbal communication
  • Impeccable attention to detail, excellent grammar and copy-writing skills
  • An ability to think and act both strategically and tactically
  • Able to conceptualize and execute projects with strong bias for action
  • Wünschenswerte Qualifikationen

  • Digital advertising and / or search experience
  • Experience in a multi-language publishing environment, including globalization for translation
  • Strong editorial background and proofreading skills, as well as experience adhering to technical style guides
  • Experience producing content for the web specifically, as well as channel-specific knowledge (blog, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
