We are currently recruiting a Team Leader m / f / d, Laboratory at Customer Site

Customer location in Munich, Germany

How will you make an impact?

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of laboratory and logistics staff providing highly specialized support directly contributing to the customer experience
  • Leverage communication skillset to support team members and key clients
  • Drive excellence in the program through clear communication, scientific collaboration, service scope expansion, Service Level Agreement adherence, development of business metrics, and team management
  • Champion innovation and practical process improvement in the program
  • What will you do?

  • Manage staff across multiple functional areas at a key customer site
  • Partner with functional area partners to monitor performance, productivity, and report performance metrics
  • Lead customer and program communication, candidate selection process, support training, and evaluate staff performance
  • Lead business reviews to highlight program capabilities and define new opportunities
  • Became trusted adviser for customer and expedite any site escalation
  • Lead site involvement with large multi-site program
  • Assist in laboratory functional activities on an as needed basis including but not limited to buffer / media preparation, basic instrument maintenance, blood component preparation, flow cytometry equipment cleaning, hollow fiber filtration processing, micropipette calibration schedule management, and routine flushing of emergency safety showers / eyewashes
  • How will you get here?

    Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of two-year degree and experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a laboratory setting; experience in GLP / GMP environment preferred
  • 5+ years of experience working in teams; leadership experience preferred
  • Scientific skillset with a background in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Molecular Biology or related field
  • Logistics experience a plus
  • Proven excellence in developing customer relationships
  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Analytical and critical thinking ability; Decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Focus on laboratory safety and GXP compliance
  • Intermediate+ Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, Teams)
  • Must have proficient verbal and written communication skills in English and German; including experience writing procedures and presentation skills
