About The Role
As the Lead Generation Manager at Soracom, you will be responsible for the top of the sales funnel and play the key role to drive our business growth by constantly innovating the most effective sales development processes, working closely with our sales and marketing teams and developing the pipeline generation strategies.
Prospecting : build a repeatable, predictable funnel of news sales leads using a range of advanced sales tools and tactics, targeting technical innovators and decision makers within the IoT sector
Build sophisticated outbound campaigns with multiple touch points across different mediums to increase awareness of the Soracom brand and generate qualified leads
Perform and report on analysis of the market and existing / potential customers
Using data, design and execute relevant campaigns and report on their effectiveness
Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Work with potential customers and support sales teams to close deals
Regularly report on customer and industry needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
3+ years proven experience in a Lead Generation, Sales Development or Business Development position for SaaS or hardware components B2B products
3+ years proven experience working with CRM and Sales Automation software (like SFDC) as well as account management systems
A resilient, tenacious personality, where you can take rejection on the chin and are always willing to do whatever it takes to hit your number
A passion for Sales you thrive in a target-driven role and enjoy the challenge of meeting daily, weekly, and monthly targets
Experience working in a tech startup-like environment
Proven track record of high performance in pipeline generation as an individual contributor
Experience implementing sales development tools (Salesforce, Outreach, LeadIQ, etc) with up-to-date knowledge of best practices
Experience in designing and implementing outbound B2B campaigns with over 10,000 contacts
Belief that teams succeed more when they work together and mutual respect with your coworkers
Passion for technologies with high acumen to fully engage in technical conversations
Strong video conference presence and experience engaging in dozens of meetings per day
Proficient in corporate productivity and web presentation tools
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs
Prioritising, time management, and organisational skills
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
Fluency in English and German with excellent verbal and written communications skills
