During your assignment you implement, integrate and evaluate cutting-edge algorithms along the complete stack of an Automated Driving system with focus on perception or function and planning modules.
Technological focus will be on Machine Learning as well as model-based approaches.
Your algorithms will run on real time on a prototype test vehicle.
You realize a system-driven evaluation in a system-in-the-loop simulation and on defined reference tracks.
Last but not least, you work in an agile and diverse research team.
Education : Master studies in the field of computer science, robotics or engineering with excellent grades
Personality and Working Practice : highly motivated, flexible team player
Experience and Know-how : excellent programming skills (Python, C++), knowledge of ROS and Machine Learning libs is a strong plus
Languages : fluent in English and ideally good in German
Start : according to prior agreement
Duration : 3 - 6 months
Optional, we can support a mandatory internship preceeding the offered thesis. This option would allow to gather a still broader understanding in the field of automated driving.
