Inside the regional teams of AccorHotels GPO, the Category Manager is responsible to ensure hotels in the region can benefit from the best quality and purchasing conditions for the categories under his / her umbrella.
He / She executes the procurement category assigned by higher management. This person is part of a team responding to the Country / Regional Senior Category Manager.
Offer Range Management (Local & Global Categories) :
Understanding of business especially technical needs
Collaboration with the technical department of AccorInvest and with external architects and engineers
Tendering according to HOAI
Definition of product / service specifications for hotel renovations and maintenance
Translate business & owners needs into a sourcing strategy for FF&E categories
Responsibility on revenue and profit for categories in scope
Procurement / Sourcing Management (Local & Global Categories) :
Participation in the definition of the local category strategy
Executing the procurement category strategy to enable category in vision.
Maintain the renovations price booklet in collaboration with team leader and customers’ technical team.
Definition of best sourcing procurement process and frequency of price review reviews
Source to contract (Local & Global Categories) :
Lead on execution of RFI / RFP / RFQ
Assessment of suppliers proposals (products & services)
Shortlisting, negotiations, and decision on selected suppliers
Closing and contracting with selected suppliers and implementation of contracts
Supplier performance management & supplier relationship management
Coordination on Global categories and international contract rollout :
Support & Coordinate with Base for identification and deployment of best practices, synergies & highlighting local specificities.
