Global Data Supply Coordinator

Main Responsibilties

  • Coordinate Data Supply Coordinators (DSC) world-wide to build-up and maintain a strong network to exchange knowledge and experience;
  • enable a self-learning DSC community

  • Define and provide framework for managing and prioritizing collaboration and implementation, based on global scalability, business relevance ,compliance, effort, quality and speed
  • Guide local Data Supply Coordinators in approaching issues best way and act as change agent to establish new process in a country or region
  • Measure and reacting to data sources with poor quality (e.g. efficiency, stability), steer Data Supply Coordinators to mitigate them
  • Define processes and requirements for collaboration with 3rd party data sources e.g. ERP provider management for all MI / SE data
  • Define processes and requirements for collaboration with retailers
  • Define and optimize manual audit processes and act as key stakeholder for STREAM and other manual data collection tools
  • Define technical and process requirements (e.g. daily data guidelines, DSP, revised implementation process, etc.)
  • Establish and manage cost transparency for data sourcing
  • Maintain solid interface to Global Retail team (alignment on targets and priorities on global level)
  • Maintain interface to the Product team (e.g. support them by providing transparency of available data contents to validate on future products and additional business revenue making use of existing data)
  • Steer existing and new projects in the area of data sourcing / data collection and actively contribute towards their successful implementation (e.g. OneMDM)
  • Ensure full transparency on all delivered PoS data (e.g. by driving initiatives like data provider content management )
  • Apply MI / SE raw-data governance (implement and maintain a rating system) to ensure and improve multi-dimensional quality in regards to data integrity and compliance, but also speed of a delivery and high ratio of key-
  • code coverage (e.g. EAN, OEM, etc.) to enable fully automated processes.

    Required Skills

  • High skill level within Microsoft office suite, particularly within Excel
  • Knowledge of retail software solutions (EPOS / MRI / ERP systems) is a plus
  • Ability to understand and analyse large data sets and metadata
  • Logical thinker, able to dissect and resolve problems that arise
  • Ability to connect with various multi-cultural people world-wide to build, maintain and lead that network
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, including the ability to plan and manage own workload
  • Proven experience of learning new tools and systems
  • Ability to find alternative solutions and make suggestions or improvements
  • A Can Do attitude and a flexible approach to work is essential
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and fluent in English is a clear must
