  • Assist in designing controls over key Hamburg Süd's processes to ensure that there is a robust internal control framework that mitigates financial reporting- and fraud risks
  • Prepare risk & control reporting to management
  • Tracking and follow-up on audit findings
  • Monitor the execution of some controls in the different agencies and affiliated companies, global service centres and across different functions
  • Active participation during the design and review of process and control changes for large global transformation projects
  • Participate in successfully rolling out new GRC software across the business
  • General sparring with colleagues to ensure a word class control environment and finance function
  • Evaluation of fraud vulnerabilities within your allocated processes
  • Design and maintenance of global authority matrices, ensuring that proper segregation of duties are maintained
  • Engagement during internal and external audits, etc.
  • The position will require an approximate travel of 30 days a year
  • Requirements

  • Relevant education as Chartered Accountant, Master in Audit, Master in Accounting and / or state authorized public accountant
  • Previous work experience in Internal Audit of multi-national companies, large external audits firms, accounting departments dealing with external reporting obligations for large companies is an advantage
  • Practical experience with documenting risks and internal controls as well as presenting outcome in a clear and concise manner
  • As a person you are detailed, energetic, self-starter and successful at managing evolving priorities
  • Ability to work independently and achieving your end goal is a key success factor
  • Effective communicator and able to convince others as you will interact with a large variety of stakeholders across multiple levels
  • Good English skills written and verbally are required as you will be part of a team driving larger and complex changes in a global company
  • You are used to and motivated by working in a challenging and changing environment dealing with different tasks at the same time
  • Advanced Microsoft office skills, especially in Excel
  • Previous experience of SAP would be beneficial
