As one of the early movers in this market, we are using our knowledge on carbon practices, our global presence, our digital and data capabilities and our strong relationships with the food value chain to pioneer an industry shaping business.
A bit about the role
Agoro is looking for two Product designers with a goal and personal motivation to be the voice of user and to reflect their intentions and requirements towards Product Managers in order to reach the healthiest balance between business and user requirements.
This role is for someone who is passionate about engaging, guiding, creating, refining and perfecting experience for the global scale while supporting local design teams.
You will closely work with product managers, developers, marketing, local team designers and will enable them to achieve their goals.
What you will be doing
Translate fuzzy ideas and concepts into clear direction through service design and UX deliverables such as design thinking artefacts, sketches, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
Deliver experiences that are optimised for a wide range of devices and interfaces, including phone and desktop.
Adopt (and champion) a user-centred design approach through rapidly testing and iterating on your concepts and designs.
Operate in cross-functional teams; including design, product, content, engineering and marketing in a collaborative effort to share and implement research and user experience insights.
Encourage and promote UX and design thinking within the teams that you work with.
What you will bring
Design Thinking advocate and practitioner.
Able to refine and perfect Product UX / UI and experience for the global and local scale.
You can provide examples of driving the development of a consumer-focused product design experience
You are self-directed and can comfortably interact with stakeholders and consumers
A thorough understanding and use of agile / scrum methodologies.

Be a key member of a fully cross functional team, along with designers, product managers and developers from around the globe.
You and your team define your own objectives, which align with your mission and the business strategy, shape your own roadmap and work to deliver value each and every step along the way
Be a key contributor in sustainable global change, reducing carbon emissions while financially supporting growers and enabling the global transformation of farming and its impact on the environment.
