Job Description and Responsibilities :
In our global IT team we provide IT services for our colleagues in Europe and worldwide, covering the areas of workplace management, networks, telephony, security, servers and data centers.
In addition to the classic client service activities we manage the installation and operation of the network and server landscapes, the support of business applications and the monitoring of IT systems.
The management and interaction of internal IT systems and operational processes is becoming increasingly demanding and complex.
This position will support our internal IT by designing and implementing automation solutions. You will reduce manual activities, accelerate processes and enable your colleagues to concentrate on the complex tasks that cannot (yet) be automated.
The Role :
Analysis and optimization of existing IT processes to realize automation potential
Participation in internal local and global projects
Recording and evaluation of automation requirements of the departments
Designing and creation of software or scripts for process automation
Functional tests of your solutions
Creating and maintaining the documentation of your solutions
Education and Work Experience :
Broad IT knowledge and a good technical understanding
Experience in software development and / or scripting (e.g. Powershell)
Experience in process automation
Independent, structured and result-oriented working methods
Strong communication and team skills
Skilled in consulting, problem solving and designing solutions
Very good English language skills - German language skills are an advantage
Willingness to take occasional business trips and participate in cross-location and cross-time zone virtual meetings outside regular working hours
You feel comfortable in a global IT environment, which is characterized by Windows, O365, Azure, Intune, Citrix, Oracle, ServiceNow
