YOUR ROLE

  • Responsible for implementing the Henkel Continuous Improvement (CI) program within the Laundry & Home Care facilities, with direct functional dotted reporting line to factories’ CI leaders
  • Responsible to develop standards to be applied worldwide within Laundry & Home Care
  • Diagnose activities and identify technical know-how and organization behaviors that are barriers to implementation
  • Provide clear expectations, coaching and appropriate support to the Site Leader and HPS Leader
  • Plan und implement Loss and Waste Reduction
  • Improve the KPI tracking, reporting and communication processes
  • Autonomous and Preventive Maintenance, Capacity, Value Stream, and Gap Analysis
  • Ensure Henkel Production System activities have a connection to loss elimination that will deliver required results
  • Capture and disseminate current best practices worthy of reapplication and work closely with HPS team to develop and implement standards to the community, share and receive learnings with and from other regional roles to foster global skill development
  • YOUR SKILLS

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with emphasis in mechanical, manufacturing and / or industrial or similar discipline
  • 8-15 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment of a large national or multi-national company recognized as a leader in performance management (packaged goods, medical device, aerospace and automotive, ), ideally minimum 2-
  • 5 years of experience within the FMCG Manufacturing industry

  • Additional qualifications such as a Lean Certification from an industry recognized provider and / or Six Sigma Certification would be a plus
  • Excellent knowledge about Laundry & Home Care production technology and Lean Manufacturing as well as production process and SHEQ standards
  • Established self-management skills, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills are required to interact with all levels of plant personnel and be comfortable working with minimal supervision
  • Ability to serve as a change agent who is able to make it happen while building positive relationships on a foundation of trust and mutual respect
  • Energy, resilience, determination, enthusiasm and strong analytical skills to challenge the status quo
  • Willingness to 50% travel (mostly within Europe)
