The Channel Manager of Rally TV is responsible for proactively leading all aspects of programming strategy and implementation across all Championships promoted by WRC Promoter GmbH.
He/she is required to optimise performance of live and non-live content across owned and managed platforms. He/she is responsible to create content consumption pathways that engage new and existing consumers more often and for longer with differentiated, authentic and ownable programming. He/she analyses insights in combination with industry best-practice, translating those elements into cohesive strategies aimed at informing and enhancing content creation. He/she is also responsible for the curation and programming of the new 24/7 linear channel Rally.tv that will be launched in 2023 The role requires the establishment of strong collaboration with all relevant internal teams in order to guide strategic direction. He/she will work with Senior Director Media Rights & OTT to maximize the performance of Rally TV as a platform and the new 24/7 linear channel. He/she will be closely aligned with internal media teams who create content and the other members of the Rally TV managing the platform technically and commercially.

Be wholly responsible for, strategize and implement content on Rally TV that inspire audiences on the new OTT platform and the 24/7 linear channel, setup of live streams during Event weeks, upload of new content, monitoring.
24/7 channel management
Curate and program the 24/7 linear channel “Rally.tv”, optimize the content on the channel based on data/KPI, identification of new content formats, support the distribution of the channel to B2B partners.
Facilitate a positive relationship with counterparts in the OTT/Digital Teams as well as stakeholder from other departments (e.g. TV Production and Marketing) to ensure successful operation of the OTT platform and the 24/7 channel.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
- Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the sports or media
- Passion for content
- Knowledge of the sport/action sport/motorsport industry
