The role This role is perfect for a seasoned Marketing Executive. Your focus will be on delivering local marketing initiatives to raise our brand profile within the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) while continuing towards significant growth targets.

You will play an important role in the delivery of the marketing plans to drive pipeline generation and conversion to support MQL, SQL and revenue goals.

The role is based in our London or Berlin office and reports to the Senior Regional Marketing Manager. Full fluency in English and German is required.

Responsibilities will include :

  • Local Field Marketing
  • Plan, execute and support trade events, prospect and or customer events, seminars and webinars partnering with local associations, tourism boards and any other key player in the industry.
  • Develop and execute local email campaigns and programs for different markets when required.
  • Drive sales launches for major campaign launches including coordinating sales blitz’ calls to prospects for follow up on campaigns, prospect events etc.
  • Source and develop local customer case studies that address customer pain points as well as identify industry trends and topics for your region that can be used in other channels such as email or content.
  • Monitor customer trends, industry press, seasonal activity, and competitor activity, in order to evaluate the industry and capitalise on opportunities and develop marketing assets.
  • Support the sales team through the creation of sales enablement content and collateral to drive customer acquisition, retain existing customers and maximise revenue.
  • Localisation of global channel campaigns

  • Collaborate with other team members regarding email marketing, SEO / SEM, paid social and content marketing campaigns and programs, reviewing campaign messaging and making recommendations for market relevancy.
  • Working with the global localisation team for any campaign translations requirements.
  • Market Insights & Monitoring

  • Analyse leads and campaign performance for the region, obtaining ongoing feedback from sales and the industry to optimise and inform marketing programs based on insights and trends.
  • Social media monitoring of audience comments on SiteMinder channels in the region and industry communities on social media.
  • Monitor the industry for insights and trends, local pain points, barriers and challenges to make recommendations for campaign messaging and PR and brand opportunities for the region.
  • Project Management & Coordination

  • Work with the regional sales manager to ensure alignment, provide visibility on the different campaigns and explore ways of creating new campaigns that will drive customer acquisition.
  • Manage internal stakeholders’ relationships and communications across multiple locations (e.g. London, Berlin, Sydney).
  • Work with the studio team in Sydney to develop collateral and stage design requirements for trade shows, seminar events, and 3rd party advertising.
  • Work with the global content marketing team for blog / thought leadership requirements, BoFu content and event presentations materials.
  • Successful Candidates will have :

  • Minimum 2 years experience with campaign (particularly email) and event management
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in German with proven experience writing copy for multiple mediums such as email, event / webinar promotions, digital advertising
  • Very good command of English language
  • A savvy marketer who can hit the ground running and make an impact on our targets in the region
  • Experience with Marketing Automation and CRM is highly desirable
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce and Tableau is highly desirable
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines while working with different time zones for sign off or decision making
  • A Bachelor's Degree in marketing or business required
  • Experience in B2B Saas companies desirable
