Your role in our team

  • You share Werum's vision of an integrated toolchain for a quick and reliable deployment of our digital products to our customer
  • You understand both our customers' existing IT infrastructure and are familiar with current trends (e.g. container technology, cloud solutions, edge computing)
  • You are used to work together with scrum development teams and have experience what it means to bring a product to many customers in short innovation cycles
  • As a platform architect, you design our deployment platform that is the basis for all of our products. This includes the definition of requirements and acceptance criteria (e.
  • g. Security, Technology, Operational aspects) for the deployment artifacts of our product development teams. This requires your professional collaboration skills that bring together different viewpoints and motivations of all stakeholder involved

  • In addition, you coordinate the work of our off shore platform development team and work closely together with the team's product owner
  • You are familiar with the high quality standards of the pharmaceutical industry and what this means for agile product deployments
  • Your profile

  • University degree in e.g. computer science / engineering / software development or proven experience in the area of IT infrastructure / software deployment Strong service orientation and good communication behavior
  • Good English and German language skills (verbal and written)
  • Profound knowledge in current infrastructure technology (container, kubernetes, cloud, virtualization)
  • Experience with current software development processes (e.g. Scrum) and current CI / CD procedures
  • Knowhow in current cloud development and deployment (e.g. AWS, Azure) procedures
  • Experience with the deployment of a complex standard product in multiple customer sites
  • First contact with a regulated industry (e.g. Pharma / Medical Devices / Banking) is a benefit
