As the Global Director IT for Veeva Oncology Link, you own our large-scale data processing and analytics platform delivering scientific insights for Oncology.
You will help us reach our vision to enhance the collaboration of scientific experts and pharma to fight cancer worldwide.
You will drive our roadmap of software features to improve quality, speed and stability of our internal systems and collaborate cross-
functionally with other internal teams and customers worldwide.

What You'll Do
Own our Veeva Oncology Link big data and analytics platform
Live employee success by example for your team of 10 developers, product managers and QA managers
Ensure stable workflows to extract, transform and load data from multiple internal and external data sources
Evolve our global data-entry platform for 500+ internal users
Extend our machine learning scope for data matching
Create business cases proposing top-notch technologies to gain efficacy and efficiency
Advise customer organizations on how to integrate our data
Translate our business goals into a high-level strategy for your team and product
Contribute a technical perspective to the Oncology Link leadership team
Recruit, challenge and reward A players
At least 5+ years of experience in people management
At least 10+ years of experience in a product management, engineering or technology strategy roles
Knowledge about a wide set of tech stacks and high energy to learn more
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to motivate people, instill accountability and achieve results
Proven ability to mentor, coach and lead a team to success
Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills
BS degree in Computer Science or a related field
Nice to Have
PhD in Computer Science or Data Science, or related
Experience in big data processing and familiarity with the Amazon Web Services technology stack (e.g. Spark, S3, Redshift)
