Your challenge :

In this exciting role, you will lead and inspire the EMEALA UL University function (L&D department), support the Training Managers and in particular, be involved in the following activities :

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead the support of learning and organizational development needs based on business direction and create quarterly and annual plans, schedules and budgets for ULU EMEALA
  • Continuously improve the design, development, implementation and evaluation of learning and development programs across EMEALA
  • Continuously drive the training effectiveness and adjust programs based on the objectives and evaluation. Coach the senior team (Learning and Development Managers).
  • Analyse post training reports and develop actions based on the analysis. Determine and report KPI’s and metrics. Provide feedback, reports and evaluations.
  • Oversee and define standards for vendor provided programs, consultants and contractors.
  • Build a strong strategic professional network and maintain relationships with external training vendors, universities and other relevant institutions.
  • Build strong relationships with ULU Region Heads in the US and Asia, Global Centers of Excellence, and Program Leaders (Leadership, Sales, Technical Training).
  • Drive global and regional learning and development projects. Lead complex projects and manage change. Manage and allocate budget and resources.
  • Facilitate leadership and management training and workshops including the most senior programs in the ULU portfolio.
  • Manage staff performance and workload. Coach ULU team members to improve knowledge and skills. Lead global virtual teams and build trust.
  • Design, conduct and evaluate organization development and change initiatives. Oversee senior level programs and facilitation.
  • Guide scoping, design, conduct and evaluation of staff projects.

    We are looking for :

  • University degree (Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree) in Human Resources Administration, Training, Education, Organisational Development, Instructional Design, or a related field plus generally 15 years professional level experience.
  • Experience working in a multi-national company, corporate environment
  • Detailed knowledge of training, organisation development and learning practices. Excellent facilitation skills, especially in leadership training.
  • Experience in managing, leading and coaching individuals and teams including global and diverse cultures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people across different cultures, levels and organisations
  • Demonstrated ability to assess needs, administer programs, and manage complex projects. Project management and Lean Sigma certification preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Learning Management Systems and digital tools preferred.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English, additional language skills would be advantageous
