Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers and facilitate smooth design in of NXP Advanced Analog portfolio into customer overall applications for the automotive and industrial markets.
  • This can be done bysetting design target specifications and working with the new product introduction teams to ensure all device performance requirements are clearly understood and the new products will meet the system specifications of key customers.

    working directly with both customers and NXP’s internal design teams to optimize NXP’s current products for specific customer applications

    Accountable to drive design wins in assigned target account(s).

  • Project manages the NXP design in campaigns for assigned customers to ensure early involvement in the customer’s technology roadmap and continuous and timely flow of information to all necessary parties within the Business Line (BL) and customer
  • Delivers ongoing formal and informal knowledge sharing and product positioning that helps assigned accounts understand the operational, financial, and business impact of NXP solutions within their practice areas
  • Successfully builds relationships with sales team members, business lines, partners and customers in support of sales team objectives
  • Assists in educating Field Sales Engineers on new technologies, new product features and their related business value
  • Interfaces with the NXP quality department to analyze and help solve quality related issues at Customers
  • Key Attributes

  • A fluent English speaker with excellent written communication skills. German is clearly a plus as most of the automotive and Industrial customers are located in Germany
  • Manage projects on both detailed technical and high level abstraction levels
  • Ability to influence and communicate the value of NXP’s products, based on inspiration, motivation and product expertise
  • Flexible; adapts to plans easily when circumstances change
  • Is aware of cultural differences and adapts his / her behavior accordingly
  • Feels challenged by initiating and driving innovations
  • High level of integrity, credibility, tenacity and commitment to excellence
  • Curious about target customer needs, competitor technology, the eco system and next generation technologies
  • Willing to travel (up to 30%)
  • Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with Analog content.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Analog design or Analog Applications support
  • Experienced in working at customer-sites for pre-sales, debug and technical support.
  • Proven track record of quickly learning new technologies.
  • Develop system level understanding of target end-applications.
  • Knowledge about the Automotive Market would be a great addition
  • Additional Specific technical expertise

    The applicant must have strong background on Analog engineering, and emphasis on one or several of the following areas is highly desirable :

  • Battery management System
  • Power Management requirements understanding
  • In Vehicle Networking
  • Safety regulations understanding
  • Sensors knowledge ( Pressure, accelerometer )
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with a high level of personal drive and energy is highly desirable.
