As a Vice President (m / f / d) Technology Programs you will have a global impact at Kühne + Nagel, by building, developing and executing rollouts of systems, platforms, tools and features to enable more efficient worldwide Overland operations.
You will also be scaling up our existing initiatives to more countries and products, helping us prepare for future growth and help gain tangible efficiency benefits of above.
Understand, analyze and review the existing end-to-end processes from Order to Cash. Improve productivity and reduce costs by launching targeted programs.
Develop and deliver the fundamental areas with key target initiatives and functionalities to implement technology changes and to boost our productivity.
Areas of focus will be Operations execution, Program execution, M&A Integration and Technology Project Execution.
Manage the critical technology step-changes and enhancements. Ensure the successful execution of technology programs and projects based on selected success criteria.
Deliver strategic project management for core projects for improving customer experience, user experience and cost.
Analyze, review and help implement the learnings on the digitalization initiatives from the market and from other business units.
Liaison between top management, customers, service engineering teams and support.
Communicate regularly and effectively with senior management and broad range of audiences on definition, progress, risks and change control.
Your Skills and Experiences
Experience managing complex technology programs and projects from planning through execution.
Large Scale Logistics / Operations / Ecommerce / Cost Optimization experience.
Multiple years of experience in a related area preferably with planning and implementation of technology systems, tools and features with CX, speed and quality.
Experience of using data and principles of Lean / Six Sigma to optimize and automate operations.
MBA equivalent in operations management / strategy, operations, logistics, mathematics or a related field
Willingness to travel to manage a variety of stakeholders in different locations.
Proficiency in English (additional languages, especially German and / or French, are a plus).
