Director, Corporate Communications Central Europe Role Description : This role requires an experienced senior communicator to drive strategic communications projects to support brand awareness across Central Europe.
The role touches all external audiences including customers, media, stakeholders and partners, helping the business confidently to tell its story.
Responsibilities : Communications Strategy : Lead the development and execution of a communications strategy for Central Europe that will drive significant awareness for Salesforce across the market.
Narrative and content development : Build the company narrative for the region, enable the extended teams to tell the Salesforce story in a way that resonates in the local market and inspires our customers to think big and take action and promotes brand love across a broad set of audiences.
EMEA Policy Comms : Collaborate with our Government Affairs, Privacy and Legal teams across EMEA and lead the development of thought-leadership campaigns and engagement.
Executive Communications : Collaborate across the extended teams of Internal Comms, Government Affairs, Social Media and Marketing to support executive communications programs for our CEO of Central Europe and a number of key execs building their profiles across the industry through bold and authentic narratives and external engagement programs.
Team management : Lead and grow the regional team (currently one direct report). Support the extended team to stay close to the corporate news agenda to ensure that Salesforce has a relevant voice in the current news cycle and establishes a thought leadership position in the market.
Strategic counsel and crisis comms : act as a go-to point of escalation for strategic communications guidance across the business.
Operations : Support the management processes around budgeting, reporting and other global alignment programs. Required Skills & Experience : Proven experience in in-house and agency public relations Experience leading Public Sector communications campaigns Established direct relationships across the business, technology and marketing media Experience in representing and engaging in industry organizations like Bitkom Exposure to managing key stakeholder relationships Excellent communication, written organization and project management skills Impeccable critical thinking and no ego - we are a dynamic team and everyone pitches in to get the job done Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while multitasking, re-prioritizing projects and communicating priority updates to business partners Positive, flexible attitude and a sense of humor are second nature BA / BS in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or Marketing preferred Preferred Skills & Experience Blend of agency and corporate in-house mix preferred Experience in building brand awareness in the B2B sector as well as for Consumer brands
