Customer Insights Data Analyst- Munich base- Salary Negotiable + Excellent Benefits- J9136

An internationally recognisable digital organisation is seeking an accomplished Customer Insights Data Analyst to join their team in Munich.

They are looking for experienced and results oriented candidates who have a proven track record of solving complex and broad business problems applying appropriate analytical best practices.

The successful candidate will be fluent German and English speaking.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Retrieve and analyse complex and large data sets to provide insights on customer life cycle and customer engagement.
  • Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analysis.
  • Analyse historical data to identify significant trends and drivers.
  • Take ownership of demand generation analytics and reporting to include : proposing, driving creation of and managing metrics and analysis to monitor and improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Develop and execute standardised reporting and analysis to improve customer behaviour knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain predictive models for customer attrition and upsell.
  • Develop A / B test scenarios and monitor results of customer engagement initiatives. Propose recommendations based on the analysis of those results.
  • Perform comprehensive analysis to support ad-hoc reporting requests.
  • Work closely with other international teams across the business.
  • Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Ideally a BSc in either Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science.
  • Significant previous experience in a similar role preferably in an internet-based or a retail company with large, complex data sources.
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to analyse issues and create appropriate tactical plans.
  • Advanced SQL writing skills and solid experience with Excel and working with databases.

  • Meticulous attention to detail, be able to manage many tasks at the same time and maintain high level of quality.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organisation.
