    The role of the STEYR Business Manager’ for specialized business segments (airports, municipality, forestry), is to make a detailed business plan to develop the product offering together with the Product Marketing organisation to ensure a competitive and comprehensive offering.

    Furthermore, develop the market teams and their dealers to give STEYR a strong platform to grow its performance in these segments in terms of market share, profitability, and visibility

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Optimize the product offering together with the European Product Marketing Team and external suppliers to ensure Engineering and the GPL have a clear understanding of what we need short, mid, and long term
  • Work together with Product Marketing to define the best business partners in terms of implements to support our product offering at a European level, but also at local level in the major markets as required
  • Develop an annual STEYR business plan with the Business Directors, Marketing & Business Managers, Product Specialists and regional STEYR Brand Management;
  • define priorities for the coming year and implement related actions together with the local teams

  • Be the STEYR face for Specialized Businesses towards the network with active participation in dealer meetings and visits
  • Grow customer knowledge by implementing a focused CRM strategy for specialized businesses together with the local teams
  • Support the development of targeted actions in coordination with Business Operations and Communication towards specific customer segments with individualized offers and especially support the creation of major tenders
  • Support the development with Pricing and Business Operation of general pricing and positioning which reflects the product value (key models, campaigns & discounts)
  • Analyze customer needs and market conditions, developing action plans as required
  • Monitor volumes and market shares, industry best practices, and competitors, developing action plans
  • Monitor sales competence and develop training plans with the Commercial Training Organisation
  • Support with input to the monthly sales forecast process for the STEYR brand
  • Build Customer relationship and Deliver Customer Satisfaction
  • Education / Training

  • Agricultural / Marketing background, University / Business School graduate
  • Knowledge of agricultural and Specialized industry and associated products
  • Commercial experience of which some years spent in managerial role
  • Skills

  • Fluent in English and German. French a plus
  • Able to communicate at different levels internally and externally
  • Management ability, able to motivate colleagues and business partners
  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a clear focus on high quality and business profit
  • Good presentation / Communication Skills
  • Competent with Microsoft Office
