About The Opportunity

Support the GKN AWD / eDrive engineering teamswithin implementation of System Safety according to ISO26262 and common HVSafety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for development of system safety concepts (Functional Safety and HV Safety) for our AWD and eDrive systems up to ASIL D

Gathering and reviewing system safety requirements from customer and other stakeholders (internal / external)

Alignment of system safety concepts (requirements and architecture) with project team, supplier and production sites

Verification of system safety concepts by means of safety analysis (FTA, DFA, FMEA)

Specification of verification and validation criteria for system safety in close collaboration with GKN test department

Providing ISO26262(2018) compliant documentation of safety relevant work products according to ISO26262-4

Working closely with and under lead of project safety manger to achieve complete product safety case

Required skills

Engineering degree (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics) or similar

At least 3 years of experience within development of safety relevant automotive systems

Profound knowledge of Functional Safety standard ISO26262(2018)

Profound knowledge of relevant HV Safety standards e.g. ISO6469, LV123 / 124,

Knowledge of Automotive SPICE

Proven experience within safety analysis methods especially FTA and DFA

Structured way of working

Familiar with Medini Analyze and PTC Integrity

Flexibility and autonomous working

Good English and German language skills in reading & writing
