Integration & Test Engineer Simulation (f / m / d)

We are offering 1 job working for AIRBUS Defence and Space (MAS); in beautiful South Germany. If you are serious about your career, this work will be interesting and elevate you to the next level.

Task

The jobholder works as an Integration & Test Engineer Simulation (f / m / d) and the main tasks are :

Perform the integration of the assigned functional models and software artifacts in theVE reference simulation, following the Continuous Integration - Continuous Delivery (CI-CD) principles

Support the JMO System Engineering team with the definition of sim-specific test cases, prepare and execute the associated test scripts

Generate, review, accept model interface specification and associated change requests Support (remotely and on-site) the JMO Design Architects and the Model Development Teams with regard to model design, development and pre-integration activities (e.g. bug investigation)

Support the Eurodrone System Design and IV Test Center with regard to design verification and IV frontloading activities (e.

g. L1 testing on hybrid benches)

Make daily use of the VE collaboration space (based on Confluence and Jira) for an effective communication and reporting of the ongoing activities and issues

Master the JMO dev-ops tool chain for model integration and testing, contribute to its roll-out and improvement among the model suppliers

Personnel requirements :

Very good communication skills

Ability to work independently and self-motivated

You are able to work in large teams and are an excellent team player

Required qualifications

Electrical engineering at least Bachelor's degree

Computer science at least a bachelor's degree

Engineering at least Bachelor's degree

Aerospace at least Bachelor's degree

MS Office at least detailed. special skills

Knowledge of Bash, Python or C / C++ is required

Knowledge of SysML / UML architecture & tools are required

Knowledge of Windows and Linux is required

Knowledge of Agile / Lean methodologies and related tools are required

Knowledge of 3rd generation of software version control systems are highly appreciated

Linguistic proficiency

Business fluent English

German, Spanish and French language skills are beneficial

Required work experience

At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the field of avionics system integration

and testing required

Experience in execution of test procedures and test result documentation is necessary

knowledge

Experience with CI / CD or DevOps tools is highly appreciated

Legal

Ideally hold any valid EU passport (if no EU passport, we offer to sponsor excellent candidates for application of a work permit.

Those candidates from countries at odds with western Europe, will probably not have AWACS experience and for security reasons should not apply at this time, or until the situations is relaxed.
