Die Position :
Die Position befasst sich vorrangig mit der Initiierung, Koordinierung, Umsetzung sowie Projektmanagement interdisziplinärer Projekte sowie der Erweiterung von bereits bestehenden Maßnahmen zur Verbesserung des HCV Screenings und zur Therapieanbindung betroffener Personen.
Das Ziel ist ein verbesserter Zugang zu einer Hepatitis C Therapie für vulnerable Patienten (mit dem Schwerpunkt auf JVA Insassen und Menschen mit Suchterkrankungen) in Deutschland.
Der Fokus dieser Position liegt im Projektmanagement (Innendienst mit überregionaler Reisetätigkeit bis zu 30%).

Versorgernetzwerke für Menschen mit Hafterfahrung und Suchterkrankungen wie Straffälligenhilfe / Bewährungshilfe / Drop-
Ins / Drogenberatungsstellen und andere Institutionen, die von einer erhöhten Krankheitsaufklärung profitieren können (z.
B. Gefängnisse, Gesundheitsämter, ); Ärzte und Behandler von Hepatitis C bzw. Suchterkrankungen.
Purpose of the role is the interdisciplinary initiation, coordination, execution of new and scaling of existing Screening and Linkage to care projects to enhance patient access to HCV care of vulnerable patients in Germany (focus PWIDs and prisons / prisoners).
The role will be office-based with need to travel across regions (20%-30%)
Job Requirements :
Support the German Disease Awareness Lead to establish understanding and heatmap of community care provider network such as drug counselling centers, addiction and HCV treating physicians and other sites of care for vulnerable patients (especially for prisoners / PWID) with the aim to drive elimination initiatives.
Future areas of responsibility amongst others are the execution and analysis of the degree of engagement for HCV (Micro-
elimination activities and the evaluation of opportunities for the former. Develop and implement a specific action plan for micro-
elimination initiatives directed towards vulnerable patients. Build strong, sustainable and reliable partnerships within the local community care provider group to translate ideas into feasible and efficient elimination initiatives.
Inspire care provider group to implement and scale-up best practice examples of micro-elimination projects to enhance screening, diagnosis and access to HCV care in the region.
Transport sense of urgency to plan and roll-out elimination strategies and support initiatives with thorough project management skills.
Design new and innovative approaches and tactics to tackle the topic of HCV elimination within an environment of extreme challenges and limited resources for care providers and affected people.
External interfaces : care provider network for prisoners and PWIDs such as ex-offender services, prisons hospitals, probation offices and other institutions benefiting from disease awareness (e.
g. prisons, public health depts. etc); Physicians treating drug addiction and HCV infection.
Competencies : Proven track of working prison / PWID context, experience in project management and and event planning and execution.
Ability to establish strong partnerships and manage opinion leaders and a diverse group of stakeholders and work in a cross-
functional team environment. Professional know-how and an existing network in the area of healthcare management within the field of addiction would be a benefit.
Analytical, methodical and creative thinking as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.
The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent time and self-management skills, ability to collaborate with diverse teams on an interdisciplinary and cross-
functional level. HIV and HCV know-how and expertise are an advantage.
Degree : Studies in science or business-related discipline or a social / health professional qualification with relevant work experience.
Fluency in German and solid English skills are desirable.
